TOILET EK PREM KATHA director Shree Narayan Singh is set to touch another socially relevant issue with a women centric film in collaboration with KriArj Entertainment.
Titled JASMINE - STORY OF A LEASED WOMB, written by Siddharth – Garima, the movie is said to be the most unprecedented journey of a girl to motherhood!
The concept was brought by Siddharth and Garima to the producers after 3 years of research and the script is ready to roll now. Says Shree Narayan Singh, “Very happy to collabrate with Kriarj once again. I have always wanted to work on women centric film and finally I am able to do so."
Representing the circle of life, the movie relates 9 months of pregnancy with 9 days of navratri and its circular formation of the traditional dance form ‘Garba’. The writers say that the dance form ‘Garba’ is actually the celebration of the womb.
The movie is set in the vibrant and rustic Gujarat of 90’s and produced by Kiraj Entertainment and Mukambika pictures. The movie is expected to roll by 2018 and the cast will be announced shortly.
