A screen grab of Salman Khan from the trailer of TIGER ZINDA HAI

We watched the eagerly awaited trailer of Bhaijaan Sallu’s TIGER ZINDA HAI this morning. While we were amazed by the scale on which the film is shot and also by the way our very own Tiger a.k.a Salman is hunting down his enemies but there are few instances from the trailer that amused us a lot and at certain junctures even defied our logic. Check out:

First and the foremost thing that grabbed our attention is a scene where a man with a gun is confronting Tiger from the front while our Tiger is sitting unarmed on a horse. The man shoots at Tiger but fortunately or unfortunately misses him (oh come on! Tiger is our hero how can anyone even think of doing that?) But Tiger is able to make that man fall off his bike with help of a mere stool!

The lesson we learnt from this particular scene is that a stool is more lethal than a gun.

Then, there’s a scene where Tiger is seen roaming around in the dessert wearing glares and those specific shots seems to be straight out of some sunglasses ads. We think if you are agent of Tiger’s stature then most certainly you will have to live up to certain standards! Duh..

In another scene we see terrorist Usman challenging Tiger by saying, “Tiger dum hai rok le” to which Salman replies, “Usmaan agar tujh mein dum hai hai toh tu ab mujhe rok ke dikha.” Wow this is a brilliant piece of dialogue with so much of novelty in it. God why can’t I come up with interesting lines like these!

Then comes the climax of the trailer, where Tiger is savagely attacking his enemies with a machine gun and surprisingly there is not even an iota of effort reflecting on his face as if he is not a human but a robot who just wants to get his task completed.

We wished every spy completes his task with the perfection of Tiger.
