Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna and Sonam Kapoor stepped out to promote PAD MAN. Akshay Kumar has postponed the release date of his film PAD MAN to avoid clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama PADMAAVAT. On request by PADMAAVAT makers, Akshay Kumar has postponed the release of PAD MAN to 09 February 2018. However, PAD MAN's promotions are in full swing.
Recently, Sonam Kapoor was seen along with Twinkle Khanna attending She's Ambassador program launched last year in the presence of Dr. Nadir Patel, Canadian High Commissioner. The duo even felicitated hygiene champions at the event. Priya Dutt was also part of the event. While it was felicitation event, Sonam made a tad too fashionable appearance. Whereas Twinkle Khann, who is the producer of the film, chose to be subtle with polka dots.
No doubt Sonam Kapoor looked stunning in in a light green and brown striped cotton saree which she paired with a high neck full sleeves floral blouse. Her hair tied back in a ponytail with silver oxidized earrings and bangles and silver Kolhapuris complemented the outfit. She will next be seen in VEERE DE WEDDING. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in lead roles. The film is slated to release on 1 June 2018. On the other hand Twinkle Khanna looked pretty in black and white polka dot midi dress with a high round neck and silver strappy heels rounded her look.
PAD MAN is an upcoming 2018 Indian biographical film written and directed by R. Balki. The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead role and cameo appearance by Amitabh Bachchan. The film will be based on "The Sanitary Man of Sacred Land", a short story from Twinkle Khanna's book, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad , which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a Tamil Nadu-based social activist who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. PAD MAN revolves around the story of Arunachalam who invented low-cost sanitary pads.
