The tall and beautiful Deepika Padukone was all grace and fire at the PADMAVATI 3D trailer launch as she gave a stunning reply to the protesters outside.

Yesterday, the makers of PADMAVATI launched its 3D trailer which was surrounded by protest outside the venue with threats of burning down cinema halls if the demands are not met.

However, the tight security ensured that the launch goes uninterrupted and the best part was the gracious Deepika Padukone in elegant black Indian attire with high heels with accessories enough to make her look as the royal queen. Looking quite a diva, the actress who plays PADMAVATI in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus that also stars Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.

When quipped about the protest, Deepika said that Rani Padmavati has blessed her as she feels she is living her in real and giving a befitting reply to the ongoing protest, the actress said, “ Nobody can stop PADMAVATI from releasing, we are doing nothing wrong’.
The magnum opus by Sanjay Leela Bhansali based on epic poem Padmavat (1540) by Malik Muhammad Jayasi, is scheduled to release on December 01 2017 and is lured with controversies since its commencement of shoot.

Yesterday, the protestors distributed pamphlets and accused Bhansali for distorting facts and raised objection over the depiction of Rani Padmavati as the object of obsession for Alauddin Khilji. However, the makers have denied any distortion of history and on record clarified that there is no romantic sequence between Rani Padmavati and Khili not even a dream sequence.

The protesters are demanding to have a screening for them before the release and reports suggest that they are planning to approach the CM of Maharashtra to intervene.

Deepika’s reply clearly indicates that the makers, cast and crew are confident and are not bogged down by such protest.
