Bollywood Box Office Report Of The Week: 24th October 2017

The much awaited Diwali offerings- Aamir Khan’s SECRET SUPERSTAR and Rohit Shetty’s Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tabu starrer GOLAAL AGAIN- managed a big explosion at the box-office, netting over 120 crore between them! While the mass-plus-class appealing GOLMAAL AGAIN netted a huge 88 crore, the limited release multiplex centric SECRET SUPERSTAR too managed 32 crore, during the opening weekend, both totals to be validated! As things stand GOLMAAL AGAIN is all set to emerge as a super hit while SECRET SUPERSTAR too will end up as a good success.

In the overseas too GOLMAAL AGAIN scored big(read as US), grossing $3.20m with £190,000 from UK and $1,050,000 from the US while SECRET SUPERSTAR also managed a good run grossing £220,000 from UK and $760,000 from the US, during opening weekend (20-22 October).

Checking out the Anupam Kher and Jimmy Sheirgill starrer, RANCHI DIARIES, the film failed miserably at the box-office.

Adding another 25.50 crore, JUDWAA 2, has netted 123 crore in two weeks from India and is a super hit. The film is also on an inspired overseas run grossing $6m with 430,000 from UK and $1,500,000 from the US.

Concluding yet again with the Rajkummar Rao starrer, NEWTON, the film added another 2 crore thus netting 22 crore in three weeks from India and is an above average fare.
